Love this! I'm 100% pro rituals. That James Clear statement 'we don't rise to our goals, we fall to our systems' popped into my head last night so between that and your lovely post, I feel like the universe is trying to tell me something hah

I think he's onto something, maybe he should write a book :) Truly this ritual thing has helped. It the first time in my life I'm hyper focused on goals - need to do something different to achieve them, right??!

lollll yeah I think people might buy that. Nice! Gonna get back into the rituals, anything to sort me out and jump on the hyperfocus train.

I make a paper to-do list every morning! It really helps. It's great. Reduces distractions in a major way. And when I don't I am far more aimless.

paper to-do list is a classic. if you don't complete a task do you add it to the next days list?

Great question. It depends on whether I evaluate that thing (the next day) as worthy of doing. Sometimes I look back to make the list and think - nope, don't need to do it today.

Have 2 outstanding from 2 days ago but neither was critical to my operation that day. Things I wanted to do, but not heartbroken that I didn't get there. Busier than expected elsewhere so those two will come back to life later on.
